  • 12 to 16 lb. turkey
  • 1 onion
  • 1 lemon
  • fresh sage
  • salt
  • butter

Directions

    Clean turkey of feathers and fat.

    Stuff cubed onion, sliced lemon and sage into body cavity.

    Brush outside with butter and season with salt.

    Bake at 325° for approximately 4 hours.

    Baste often.

    When turkey turns golden brown, cover with foil tent.
