- 1 Turkey
- 1 lemon
- pinch sweet paprika
- dash white wine
Directions

1The night before cooking prepare then salt the turkey.

2Heat the oven to 180 c.

3Place turkey whole on a tray.

4Spread the butter over the turkey inside and out.

5Then squeeze half of the lemon juice onto the turkey and slice the other half and place both inside and on the outside turkey.

6Add a splash of white wine.

7Cover with foil and place in the oven.

8The times vary depending on the size of the bird.

9A 6 to 8 pound turkey will take 2 1/2-3 hours to cook.

10I recommend basting the bird every 30 minutes or so.

11When ready remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 30 minutes covered in foil.
