  • 1 Turkey
  • 1 lemon
  • pinch sweet paprika
  • dash white wine

Directions

    The night before cooking prepare then salt the turkey.

    Heat the oven to 180 c.

    Place turkey whole on a tray.
  4. 4
    Spread the butter over the turkey inside and out.
  5. 5
    Then squeeze half of the lemon juice onto the turkey and slice the other half and place both inside and on the outside turkey.

    Add a splash of white wine.

    Cover with foil and place in the oven.

    The times vary depending on the size of the bird.

    A 6 to 8 pound turkey will take 2 1/2-3 hours to cook.

    I recommend basting the bird every 30 minutes or so.

    When ready remove from the oven and let it rest for at least 30 minutes covered in foil.
