Ingredients

  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 6 c. bread flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    In one bowl, dissolve yeast, sugar and salt in lukewarm water. In another bowl, dissolve Crisco in hot water. Set both bowls aside to cool.

    Mix together.

    Add eggs and enough flour to make soft dough, about 6 cups.

    Leave out about 2 hours or place in refrigerator to rise. Bake at 450°.
