- 10 medium asparagus spears, well mashed and course ends snapped off
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 18 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 12 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- 2 slices Italian bread, toasted
Directions

1preheat oven to 400F.

2Dry asparagus on paper towels.

3Place spears in a shallow roaster.

4Drizzle spears with oil and turn to coat.

5Sprinkle with salt if desired.

6Roast 10 mins til spears are tender.

7Remove to a plate and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

8Serve on toasted Italian bread slices.
