Roasted buttered beef and vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds chuck roast
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup Adolphs meat tenderizer
  • 1/4 cup paprika
  • 1/4 cup turmeric
  • 1/4 cup granulated garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 1 pound whole green beans
  • 2/3 butter
  • 1 pound mixed vegetables, orange carrots, yellow carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower.
  • 1/2 cup butter

Directions

    Preheat oven to 375 Fahrenheit

    Cover bottom of roaster, or oven safe dish.

    Add spices to roast.

    Only use some of the salt to litely salt the roast.

    Put on top of butter in roaster

    Smother the top of roast with butter

    Add beans on top of buttered roast

    Salt the beans with some of the salt

    Add the mixed vegetables, litely salting the vegetables and add rest of the butter on top

    Put into oven covered.

    Roast for 1 1/2 hours.
