  • 1 celery hearts cut in half lengthways
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic .crushed,, optional
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 7 3/8 tablespoons breadcrumbs Fresh white
  • 1 3/4 tablespoons butter melted, 1oz
  • 1 tablespoon thyme Freshly chopped

Directions

    Preheat the oven to 190 C,375 F, Gas Mark 5.

    Place the celery in an ovenproof dish and brush with oil and roast for 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile mix together the breadcrumbs, butter, thyme and season.

    Sprinkle the breadcrumb mix on top of the celery and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes.
