- 1/2 cup Italian dressing
- 1 - 2 Tbsp dried dill weed
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (5 - 5 1/2 lb) roasting chicken
- 2 lb. potatoes, cut into chunks
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Mix together the Italian dressing, dill, onions, salt and pepper until blended. Place chicken in roasting pan, spread dill mixture inside cavity and over skin.

3Coat potatoes with remaining dill mixture.

4Place potatoes around chicken.

5Cover with aluminum foil and roast for 1 1/2 hours, turning potatoes occasionally.

6Remove foil and continue to cook until chicken and potatoes are completely done.
