- 2 c. pecan halves
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- coarse salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Spread pecan halves in a baking pan.

2Pour melted butter over the nuts and toss well.

3Roast nuts in a moderately slow oven at 325° for about 25 minutes or until they are lightly colored and sizzling.

4During roasting, shake them several times.

5Sprinkle with salt and a few grinds of pepper.

6Shake the pan to distribute seasonings.

7Cool nuts and transfer to airtight jar and store in refrigerator.
