Roasted Red Pepper Bread

  • 1 (12-inch long) loaf Italian bread
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 c. roasted red peppers, chopped
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves

    About 15 minutes before serving, preheat oven to 350°.

    With serrated knife, cut Italian bread crosswise into 12 slices.

    Place slices on cookie sheet.

    Spread slices with butter or margarine and sprinkle with roasted red pepper and oregano leaves.

    Bake bread until golden, about 7 minutes.
