- 1 pt. oysters
- 2 bunches green onions
- 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 lb. butter, melted
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- salt, pepper and Tabasco
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 c. Italian breadcrumbs
Directions

1Drain oysters, reserving liquor.

2Grind all greens in the blender, using 1/2 cup oyster liquor and melted butter for liquid. Place in an enameled or stainless steel pan; add Worcestershire, lemon juice and seasonings.

3Bring to simmer.

4Blend or cut oysters into small pieces.

5Add to spinach mixture along with breadcrumbs and continue to simmer about 1 hour or until raw taste is gone.

6Check for seasonings.

7May be frozen.

8Yield:

91 1/2 quarts.
