  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 stick butter

    Mix all ingredients together except milk

    Add enough milk to make a dough you can handle.

    Take about 1/3 of the dough and roll out on flour

    Cut into squares or noodles

    In the meantime, boil about 8 cups of chicken broth and about 2 cups of milk.

    Add a stick of butter

    When boiling, add the dumplings while stirring so they don't stick.

    Cook about 30 min.
