- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 beef bouillon
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, chopped (if desired)
Directions

1Brown meat well in oil and butter; drain excess, then add a little more butter.

2Add onion and saute until tender.

3Do not allow to brown.

4Add mushroom soup and bouillon cube, which has been diluted in 1/2 cup hot water.

5Let simmer until well seasoned, about 20 to 30 minutes.

6Serve over rice or grits.
