- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. melted shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- approximately 8 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Using a large bowl, add ingredients in order.

2Add 5 cups of flour, then beat well.

3Add 2 more cups of flour, knead remaining flour in by hand until not sticky.

4Let rise until doubled.

5Make into rolls.

6Rise.

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 425°.
