- 6 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 2/3 c. powdered milk
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 eggs
Directions

1In a large mixer bowl, put in 3 cups flour, salt, dry yeast and powdered milk.

2Mix together.

3Heat water, sugar and shortening to a little more than lukewarm.

4Add to dry mixture, plus 2 eggs.

5Beat for 2 minutes.

6Add 3 more cups flour and work by hand or dough breaker until quite elastic.

7Cover with waxed paper and put a dark towel over it.

8Yeast grows better in a dark area.

9Set it in a nice warm area to rise until double in size.
