- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Let yeast dissolve in 1/4 cup warm water.

2Mix flour and liquid to form soft dough.

3Knead gently on floured board.

4Form dough in 12 small balls and place in muffin pan.

5Brush with oleo. Let double in size.

6Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.

7Makes 12 muffins.
