  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. warm water
  • 7 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 c. boiling water

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.

    Melt butter in 1 cup boiling water.

    Mix remaining ingredients in large bowl with melted mixture and yeast.

    Mix well and refrigerate immediately. Allow dough to chill before using.

    Make dough into rolls and let rise 1 hour before baking.

    Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.
