- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. scalded milk
- 3 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg
Directions

1Dissolve 1 package yeast in 1/4 cup warm water.

2Mix in bowl butter, sugar and salt.

3Pour scalded milk over and add flour and egg and mix with mixer.

4Add yeast when batter is warm.

5Add flour. Turn on floured board (rest 10 minutes).

6Place in well greased crock, raise 2 hours and punch down.

7Shape in rolls and raise 1 hour.

8Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
