- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup water.

2Add one teaspoon sugar; set aside.

3Place shortening and remaining sugar in large mixing bowl. Add 2 cups boiling water, mix and cool to lukewarm.

4Beat in eggs and yeast.

5Stir in 1 1/3 cups flour and beat until smooth.

6Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough.

7Cover bowl with plastic wrap and put a plate on top.

8Place in refrigerator.

9After 2 hours, punch bowl; let set overnight in refrigerator.
