- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. lard
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. yeast
- 4 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- about 10 c. flour
Directions

1Beat sugar, lard and salt together.

2Add yolks and beat.

3Add yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water.

4Beat again.

5Add 4 cups warm water.

6Add enough flour to handle (about 10 cups for firmer dough).

7Keep in refrigerator.

8Let rise once or twice before storing.

9Use as needed.

10Shape into rolls; let rise and bake.
