Ingredients

  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • about 7 c. flour
  • 1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. dry yeast

Directions

    In large bowl, add warm water and sprinkle yeast on top to dissolve.

    Melt margarine in saucepan (don't get too hot).

    Add well beaten egg, sugar and salt.

    Add to yeast mixture.

    Add flour and knead well.

    You might have to add a little more flour while you knead the mixture.

    Grease sides of bowl and mixture. Let rise until double.

    Bake at 400°.
