- 3/4 c. milk, warmed
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening, melted
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 1 pkg. yeast in 1/4 cup warm water with a little sugar
- 3 to 3 1/4 c. flour
Directions

1Mix all ingredients.

2Let set about 20 minutes.

3Knead slightly and return to greased bowl to rise.

4Place on floured board.

5Knead lightly and divide into 2 parts.

6Stretch section about 12 inches.

7Cut strip into 10 pieces and mold into balls. Place on greased sheet and let rise one hour.

8Bake 15 minutes at 375°

9or until browned.

10Makes 20 rolls.
