  • 1 c. Crisco lard
  • 2 c. sweet milk
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. warm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Work shortening and sugar well into the flour.

    Put out on dough board and work

    with large biscuit cutter.

    Put in pan. Brush butter on top.
