  • 3 lb. round steak, cut into 6 pieces
  • 2 c. bouillon
  • 1 (16 oz.) mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper

Directions

    Sprinkle the round steak with tenderizer and let stand one hour.

    Dredge in flour and brown in oil.

    Remove meat; put in roasting pan.

    Blend in hot drippings and ingredients listed.

    Pour over meat and bake uncovered at 325° for 2 1/2 hours.

    Melt slices of Mozzarella cheese on top.
