- 8 1/2 cups milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 small cinnamon sticks
- 8 egg yolks
- 1 cup brandy
Directions

1Combine 8 cups of the milk, sugar and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

2Simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes.

3In a bowl, combine the egg yolks with the remaining milk.

4Slowly pour into the milk mixture and simmer, stirring frequently, until it reaches the consistency of a thick sauce, about 10 minutes.

5Stir in the brandy and remove from heat.

6Pour into a pitcher and chill.
