  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. 3 minute oats
  • 1 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 eggs

Directions

    Put first 3 ingredients in covered bowl; let stand 20 minutes. Combine all ingredients until all is wet.

    Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Baker's Joy.

    Pour batter in pan and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.

    Top with German chocolate icing.
