Ingredients

  • 2 c. onions, sliced
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 lb. ground beef, lean
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 c. catsup
  • 2 (1 lb.) cans Campbell's pork and beans
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can French fried onion rings

Directions

    Fry onions in oil until golden; add ground beef and fry with onions until all redness in meat is gone.

    Add all remaining ingredients except onion rings.

    Mix well and pour into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    During the last 10 minutes of baking, top with onion rings.

    Bake in all about 40 to 45 minutes or until bubbly.
