- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 small apples, peeled and chopped
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Cook onion in fat until soft.

2Add cabbage and steam on medium with needed water for 15 minutes.

3Add apples, vinegar, sugar and salt.

4Turn heat to low and cook about 30 to 45 minutes.
