  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate
  • 1 1/8 cups softened butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 7/8 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour

    Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

    Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Arrange the nuts on the baking sheet.

    Bake for 15 minutes.

    Turn off the oven and let the nuts cool down.

    Once they are cold, rub them in your hands to remove most of the skin.Set aside.

    In a saucepan over low heat melt the chocolate and the butter.

    In a medium bowl, combine eggs and sugar.

    Whisk until the mixture is pale.

    Add the flour.

    Then stir in the nuts and the butter/melted chocolate mixture.

    Transfer into a 20X30 pan or baking dish lined with parchment paper.
