  • 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. butter or oleo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sour milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Add hot water to chocolate.

    Cream the butter. Add sugar, a little at a time, and cream thoroughly. Add sour milk, eggs and chocolate.

    Add dry ingredients sifted together.

    Bake in two 9-inch round pans or one 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
