  • 2 cups walnut halves
  • 5 tsp olive oil
  • 5 tsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbs chopped fresh rosemary
  • 3 tsp chopped fresh thyme (divided into 2 tsp an 1 tsp)
  • Kosher salt

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350. Whisk olive oil, syrup, pepper, rosemary and 2 tsp of thyme in a small bowl. Add walnuts and toss well to coat. Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake until fragrant and crisp, 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle with final 1 tsp thyme and 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt. Cool completely.
