Ingredients

  • 1 gal. tomatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. canning salt
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • finely chopped jalapeno peppers (hot 10, medium 7, mild 4)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients in large enamel pot.

    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Pour into sterilized pints; seal and process in boiling water bath 5 minutes.
