- 1 lb. round steak, cut in 4-inch slices
- 8 slices bacon, cut in small pieces
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 4 Tbsp. oil
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Pound steak to about 1/4 to 3/8-inch thick.

2Salt and pepper steak; spread each piece with mustard.

3Mix bacon and onions together; spread on beef slices.

4Roll slices tightly.

5Tie with string, or fasten with toothpicks.

6Brown in oil.

7Add water. Finish cooking in a 350° oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

8Take rolls out.

9Mix cornstarch with a little water.

10Add to drippings in pan.

11Cook to thicken.

12To serve, pour gravy over rolls.
