Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lb. round steak, cut in serving pieces
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 pt. water
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce
- 1 tsp. beef bouillon
Directions

1Combine flour and next 4 ingredients together.

2Flour meat and brown in frypan in 1/4 cup oil.

3Remove from pan and add to drippings the remaining flour mixture.

4Thicken drippings and then add water, bouillon and sauce to drippings.

5Put meat back in pan and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

6Serves 4 to 6.
