  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. water
  • 1 tsp. grated lime rind
  • 6 Tbsp. lime juice (fresh limes, please)
  • 1/2 c. rum

    In a small saucepan, mix sugar and water.

    Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes.

    Add grated lime rind.

    Cool to room temperature.

    Stir in lime juice and rum.
