- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. yellow Crisco
- 3 c. cake flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. light rum
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5 eggs
Directions

1Cream sugar, butter and Crisco. Add eggs; mix well. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, alternating with milk and rum. Add vanilla. Grease tube pan and line bottom with wax paper. Put 1 cup ground nuts in before adding batter. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
