Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
  • 2 thin slices ginger root or 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 10 water chestnuts, cut in half
  • 10 chicken livers, cut in half
  • 10 slices bacon, cut in half

Directions

    Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger root and garlic in glass or plastic bowl.

    Stir in chicken livers and water chestnuts.

    Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours, stirring occasionally; drain.
