- 1 can whole water chestnuts
- 1/4 c. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. sugar
- enough bacon slices to wrap chestnuts
Directions

1Combine soy sauce and sugar; marinate chestnuts in mixture at least 30 minutes.

2Cut bacon slices in half.

3Wrap each chestnut and secure with a toothpick.

4Bake about 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp at 400°.

5Turn if necessary.

6This can be done ahead.

7To rewarm, put in a 350° oven for 5 minutes.
