  • sliced bacon (raw)
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • chicken livers
  • soy sauce

Directions

    Wash and remove fiber from chicken livers.

    Soak in soy sauce for 1 hour.

    Cut chestnuts in slices.

    Place 1 piece of chestnuts in the center of 1 piece of liver.

    Wrap bacon around liver and chestnut.

    Secure with wooden toothpick.

    Place on ungreased baking dish, about 1/4-inch apart.

    Bake at 350° until bacon is crisp. Serve hot with a salsa type dip.
