Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco
  • 12 slices bacon, cut in half
  • 1/4 c. tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb. chicken livers, cut in half

Directions

    Combine all ingredients except chicken livers and bacon in mixing bowl.

    Add livers; stir to coat.

    Let stand 20 minutes. Drain, reserving marinade.

    Wrap each liver piece in half strip of bacon; secure with toothpicks.

    Broil on rack about 2 inches from source of heat about 10 minutes, turning often.

    Heat reserved marinade in small saucepan to boil; simmer 2 minutes.

    Use as dip for rumaki.
