- 4 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. confectioners sugar
- 1/4 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. brandy
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat egg yolks until thick.

2Add sugar and cream.

3Beat until well blended.

4Chill dough for easier handling.

5Roll on lightly floured board.

6Cut into 1 1/2-inch diamonds.

7Make a slit in center of each diamond; slip one end through slit and pull gently to make a bow.

8Fry in hot deep fat at 375°

9until light brown. Drain.

10When cool, dust with confectioners sugar.
