- 1/2 lb. lean beef
- 1/2 lb. fat pork
- 1 large heat white cabbage, shredded
- 1 large tomato, quartered
- 1 onion, sliced
- 5 c. stock or water
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- sour cream
Directions

1Combine meats, vegetables and stock or water.

2Add seasoning and simmer slowly for several hours or until meat is tender. Remove meat from soup.

3Cut into slices and serve with soup. Garnish soup with sour cream.
