  • 1 1/2 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 c. cream-style corn
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped hot and sweet green peppers, mixed

    Sift cornmeal and sugar in bowl.

    Beat in eggs, oil and buttermilk.

    Add remaining ingredients.

    Pour into a greased pan and bake at 450° for 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
