  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 10x sugar
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. finely chopped nuts

Directions

    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.

    Sift flour and salt; add to butter mixture.

    Blend well.

    Add nuts and mix thoroughly.

    Shape into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake in slow oven (325°) for about 20 minutes.

    Do not brown. Cool and roll in powdered sugar.
