Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. water
  • 1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 3 Tbsp. dry loose tea
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 (12 oz.) can pineapple juice
  • 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind

Directions

    Mix sugar, water, cinnamon and cloves in a saucepan.

    Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes.

    Add tea and heat through. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 5 minutes.

    Strain and add remaining ingredients. Heat but do not boil.

    Serve hot.

    Makes about 8 measuring cups.
