Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 4 c. water
  • 1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. whole cloves
  • 3 Tbsp. dry tea
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 (12 oz.) can pineapple juice
  • 1/2 tsp. orange rind, grated
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon rind, grated

Directions

    In saucepan, combine sugar, water, cinnamon and cloves; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.

    Add tea, remove from heat and let stand, covered for 5 minutes.

    Strain; add remaining ingredients.

    Heat but do not boil.

    Serve hot.

    Yields about 8 cups.
