Ruth'S Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter (don't use margarine!)
  • 1/4 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Boil the first 3 ingredients together for four minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla.

    Stir into the popped corn.

    Put in a large pan in a 200° oven for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
