- 3 c. hot milk
- 3 Tbsp. fat
- 1/2 c. light molasses
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 c. cooked quick oatmeal
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 c. rye flour
- 6 to 8 c. white flour
Directions

1Mix ingredients in the order given.

2Add enough white flour to make a dough that can be kneaded.

3Allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

4Shape into 3 or 4 loaves.

5Let rise again. Bake in a 350° oven for 45 to 60 minutes.

6If loaves become too dark, reduce oven temperature near end of baking period.
