- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 1/2 c. water
Directions

1Brown ribs in bacon fat on all sides.

2Drain off fat.

4Simmer 2 hours, covered, until tender. Thicken sauce with flour.
