- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 12 oz. warm beer (not light beer)
- 3 Tbsp. dry rubbed sage
Directions

1In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar and sage.

2Add the beer and mix with a spoon until blended.

3Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan and bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out dry.

4Cool on a wire rack.

5Butter can be rubbed on the top while still warm.
