Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 pkg. Lipton dry chicken noodle soup
  • 1/2 c. rice
  • 4 1/2 c. water

    Brown beef and sausage in frying pan.

    Add onion, pepper and celery.

    Simmer about 15 minutes.

    Bring water to a boil and add rice and soup mix.

    Let cool about 7 to 8 minutes.

    Combine all ingredients in a baking dish and bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes, covered.
